Summary

Education

• Strong understanding of orthopedics products and industry
• Good understanding of the NZ public and private healthcare system
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to interpret financial and clinical data
• Highly focused on exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to follow sales plans and to expand the use of products and service within the assigned territory
• Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and foster long-term relationships with internal and external customers

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Writer to work with our team in New Zealand to support our global Medical Communications business. This role offers the opportunity to create a variety of copy across the full range of medical communications activities.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:
• Previous experience in Medical Communications writing
• The confidence to provide strategic direction if needed, and manage tactical delivery of scientific content.
• Someone comfortable finding their own solutions and making decisions based on customer needs and expectations
• The ability to anticipate what would be of most value to the customer, for both content and delivery
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• The ability to build effective working relationships across our local team as well as international stakeholders are crucial to this position
• Fluency in Mandarin (desirable but not essential)
