Delaware North’s operations at Auckland Airport are growing! To ensure we continue offering a high standard of service to airport patrons, we are now seeking Kitchen Hands to join our culinary team. In this role you will complete basic food preparation and all kitchen cleaning duties as required to ensure the provision of a hygienic, safe and clean kitchen environment to meet the highest level of guest and staff satisfaction. In this role you will complete basic food preparation and all kitchen cleaning duties as required to ensure the provision of a hygienic, safe and clean kitchen environment to meet the highest level of guest and staff satisfaction.
The successful candidates will possess the following

Experience in a busy kitchen environment (dishwashing, sandwich production etc) is desirable or previous experience in a manual labour and customer service role would be considered
Passion and enthusiasm for work in a fast-pace environment
Great customer service skills
You have a strong compliance focus towards Food Safety including temperature and quality checks and managing cross contamination
Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Possess... current recognised Food Hygiene certificate (or be willing to obtain during employment)

Availability

The successful candidate must commit to a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days, and nights

Pay rate

The hourly pay rate for a Kitchen Hand position at Auckland Airport is $23.10 p/h

About the role
We are looking for x3 Senior Guest Experience Specialists to join our Guest Experience team at Auckland Airport. We are committed to ensuring all of our customers have an exceptional... experience through the execution of our Guest Promise.
As a Senior Guest Experience Specialist, you will provide leadership, supervision, development, and support to the frontline guest experience team.
You will be required to work a roster of 6 days on and 3 days off.
Mornings 0400-1230, afternoons 1130 – 2000, evenings 1830-0300.
Your key responsibilities are:
Lead and supervise the shift team on the day, ensuring accurate circuit rosters are available and the team are well supported in the delivery of the Guest Promise and Service Principles.
Ensure staff shortages and unplanned leave is covered in co-ordination with the Manager Guest Experience Team.
Ensure coverage for all booked Concierge services and provide leadership and guidance when required for the delivery of these services.
Assist the Manager Guest Experience Team and Guest Services Delivery Managers in ensuring our terminal and facilities always meet our design and terminal standards.
Provide leave cover for the Manager Guest Experience Team as and when required.
Working alongside the Manager Guest Experience Team and the Operations and Guest Experience Trainer, provide on the job learning and development individualised to each team members’ needs.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and procedures, and together with the Manager, Guest Experience team and peers, drive optimisation and efficiencies within the system.
Provide assistance to all airport guests which includes, but not limited to, providing a helping hand, lifting and carrying of luggage, pushing of baggage trolleys, and being able to ‘surprise and delight’ our guests.
Provide information to all airport guests and visitors, ensuring all information provided is up to date and relevant.
Assist when required with operational requests which may include lifting and carrying of stanchions throughout the terminal buildings, setting up queuing configurations in disrupt situations, moving digital signage around the terminal buildings and assisting with crowd management.
