We are looking for an Ad Sales Associate to join our growing Brand Partnerships team. In this role, you will work closely with our Tourism Sales Executive to generate revenue through branded content partnerships, with a specific emphasis on cultivating and building relationships with the Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) and the tourism industry. In addition to supporting our sales team, you will work closely with our product, creative, and account service teams to see to it that the programs we sell are implemented to maximize the client’s KPIs and align with Atlas Obscura’s brand standards and editorial voice.

Responsibilities
• Assist Ad Sales Executive in achieving sales revenue targets for branded content, experiential, and digital campaigns.
• Support Ad Sales Executive in prospecting to expand Atlas Obscura’s advertiser base, specifically targeting DMOs.
• Assist in preparation and follow up of client meetings.
• Interface with agencies/ clients on all aspects of campaign ideation, execution, and implementation.
• Work with sales team on all pre- and post-sales activity and act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of campaign execution:
• Respond to RFPs and client requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in creating media plans that meet client objectives, ensuring the correct product mix and pricing strategies.
• Assist the pre-sale marketing team in the creation of proposal decks with a high level of attention to detail.
• Respond to requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, etc. as required.
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments on all levels of campaign execution (Marketing, Media, Ad-Ops, etc.).
• Ensure all sold products are routed to the appropriate fulfillment teams or vendors.
• Work with the Ad Ops team on execution, fulfillment, and correct billing of campaigns as required.
• Process and manage Insertion Orders utilizing Atlas Obscura’s tools and systems.
• Work with Ad Ops to provide recommendations for Optimization based on client KPIs.
• Assist in the creation of and analysis for campaign wrap reports

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
• 3+ years of digital media, advertising, or tourism marketing experience (campaign/ client or vendor management preferred)
• Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within an individual and team environment
• Must have a strong customer focus that conveys responsiveness and competence
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional presentation skills - creation and delivery
• Demonstrate self-direction and ability to work autonomously
• Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Desire to learn different aspects of digital advertising
