LOCATION

This position could be based in New York, US. The role is responsible for our property Amanyara in Turks & Caicos and requires regular visits there. Alternatively the role could also be in Turks & Caicos.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Manager is the marketing leader for Amanyara – and is responsible for driving revenue and engagement with Aman’s UHNW target guest through innovative marketing programs and initiatives.

Work will be focused on Amanyara - Aman’s resort in Turks & Caicos - and will drive topline revenue performance, market share, brand awareness, engagement, while protecting what makes Aman so special.

The role is responsible for achieving property marketing objectives with responsibility for supporting revenue growth and hotel reputation globally. The role focuses on implementing the hotel’s marketing strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the experience.

The Marketing Manager manages the marketing budget to enable development of property specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectives. This role will closely work with the Corporate Marketing and Communications, Brand, CRM & Business Intelligence and Digital teams for brand alignment. The Manager will annually draft, present and execute marketing plans with a focus on delivering authentic, brand positioning, and revenue driving initiatives and partnerships with a focus on delivering results for the hotel and the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REVENUE GENERATION
• Develop creative marketing strategies and tactics for Amanyara to support revenue and market share goals – and provide strategic guidance on all facets of marketing.
• Develop marketing strategies by studying market dynamics; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying target guests and their current and future needs; and monitoring the competition.
• Develop and implement local marketing activities to engage domestic and international guests.

MARKETING STRATEGY & EXECUTION
• Partner with teams across the company, including Corporate Marketing, Communications, Brand, Digital, CRM & Business Intelligence, to craft and execute truly innovative marketing ideas and tactics to grow business and market share.
• Lead and develop marketing strategies that focus on fully integrated marketing (e.g. digital, content, public relations, social, and on property experiences) to showcase and promote what makes Amanyara so special.
• Support the hotel to create never-before-seen innovative luxury experiences, services and revenue-generating exclusive offers that drive demand and occupancy.
• Together with the General Manager and the Manager of Sales, prepare and update the annual sales, marketing, and communications plan.
• Responsible for the management of selected relevant agency relationships for execution of strategic digital, marketing & communications plans (e.g. digital, social, PR, SEO).
• Creation, management and review of all digital and print property and marketing collateral/ materials in line with Aman brand guidelines, ensuring the Sales & Marketing team have the necessary tools to present and confirm business for the property.
• Manage all local campaigns and shoots.
• Connect with Corporate PR teams as necessary and support the Corporate PR team in the event of a crisis.
• Work with CRM & BI and appropriate hotel team member to manage post-stay and online reviews in an on-brand tone of voice.
• To lead regular calls with General Manager to review performance indicators vs. budget, current planned promotional activity, and brainstorm forward promotional plans
• Manage travel trade co-op initiatives, requests and campaigns and equip sales teams with resources to sell the property (marketing collateral/presentations), with the support of the Corporate Marketing team.
• To work closely with the CRM & BI team to analyze historical and future data and formulate recommendations about the customer journey and all touch points.
• Plan and communicate the updates for all transactional emails
• Liaise with the CRM Champion & teams on property on all topics related to GDPR, data governance.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• University degree required.
• 4-8 years progressive work experience in marketing is required.
• Luxury brand experience required, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Knowledge and experience in developing strategic marketing plans, brand marketing, public relations, luxury partnership marketing, and digital marketing in the USA
• Exceptional communication skills effective across diverse audiences
• An established network of vendors including photographers, writers, etc
• Excellent fluent English – written, verbal, listening and presentation
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level, Adobe Suite desired
• Self-motivated and creative problem-solver

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to assist the HR Director and the Assistant HR managers with most functions of Human Resources including all administrative functions, recruiting elements, application processing, housing, insurance enrollment, worker’s comp accident reporting, staff events, training, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
