• Own and develop strategies and build effective support programs to drive leads, conversion, retention, and revenue across the full spectrum of the marketing department (brand, email, content, social, SEO, UI/UX, product, ecomm) and key AKC departments (including registration, sales, sports & events, business development, internal consulting, PR)
• Identify new opportunity markets and develop acquisition marketing tactics to encourage growth in new areas
• Leverage data to get buy-in and budget support from senior leadership and stakeholders
• Measure, analyze, and present campaign and marketing success based on established KPIs
• Deliver performance reports to AKC leadership and cross-organizational departments you partner with
• Collaborate with agency and technology platform partners to develop and execute campaigns
Required Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Competency Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on experience owning inbound and outbound marketing at a small org/startup, or contributor at a large org
• Expert knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, paid social, and email, and how they work together across the full funnel
• Analysis of metrics and ROI to articulate the success of the program including recommended optimizations to course-correct success as required
• Able to build consensus via collaboration, persuasion and influence across various functions and levels in the organization
• Experience managing agency and freelance relationships and execution
• Experience with Hubspot, Marketo, Leadpages, or similar marketing automation systems
• Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce
• Experience with Google Analytics, ESPs, Google Ads
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills
• Love of dogs is a plus!
