How does a cloudy beer affect your hangover?

Drinking beer in moderation is not dangerous and does not cause a hangover.

The majority of beers contain carbohydrates and alcohol. Alcohol is a diuretic, which means that it stimulates the production of urine and can lead to dehydration. Carbohydrates can lead to blood sugars rising, which can also make you feel hungrier or cause an insulin spike.

A cloudy beer contains more yeast (or live yeast) than a clear one, which alters the taste and gives it a thicker consistency. Yeast converts sugar into alcohol when it’s in liquid form.

Cloudy beers tend to have more natural flavors like banana or apricot because these ingredients are left in during the brewing process (whereas in clear beers they’re filtered out).
