About the General Manager role

Roomie Rentals is looking for a young, energetic, and self-driven individual with significant entrepreneurial experience and a proved track record to help scale the largest college furniture rental business in the US.

Roomie Rentals has been renting furniture to college students across the country for more than a decade. We’ll provide the infrastructure to acquire new business, create new deals with strategic partners, and execute on all operations around move-in.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development activities for new campuses, products, and initiatives

• Recruit, train, and manage teams of on-campus students across the country

• Manage move-ins and move-outs across campuses

Roomie Rentals

• 5+ years of experience as a startup founder or very early employee

• Scrappy operator who has experience managing on-the-ground logistics and operations

• Strong communicator who can pitch the vision to potential partners and negotiate strategic partnerships

• Energetic problem solver

Roomie Rentals

• You must be in New York City for a majority of the year

• Role is technically hybrid though – be where you want, when you want

Benefits

• Competitive cash compensation. Base salary starts at $150,000 with performance bonuses of up to 100%

• Assist in driving a world class and best in category restaurant operation
• Continue to grow, develop and train a high-performance team

Under the guidance of the Practice Administrator, the Program Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the coordination, implementation and administrative duties for assigned departments and programs.
