For full-time employees, we offer generous benefits after three months with perks such as employee discounts for sheet music, and bi-annual trips to New York for summer picnics.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor and fulfill print-on-demand orders for sale and orchestra performances
• Assemble sheet music books and orchestra performance sets
• Add title pages, copyright statements, and blank pages for page turns to pdfs when needed
• Ship print-on-demand orders from our Malvern office
• Scan paper scores and parts from our archives to create digital files
• Evaluate performance materials for usability and completeness
• Cut, fold, collate, bind, and organize sheet music
• Making boxes for outbound LTL print shop shipments
• Shrink-wrapping assembled books
• Monitor and send print jobs to printers
• Moderate use of heavy machinery
• Update our internal online database of works in progress
• Constantly monitor printed components for quality control issues
• Making boxes for outbound LTL print shop shipments
• Shrink-wrapping assembled books
• Wrapping pallets to prepare weekly print shop shipments for pickup from our logistics company
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Basic knowledge of (classical) music is required
• Basic math skills and number matching ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to get along well with others in a team environment
• Good organizational skills
For those interested in full time, our hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday (although weekends could be considered) with possibility for flexible hours. No prior work experience is required. We are located in the Great Valley Corporate Center in Malvern, PA, minutes from I-76, PA turnpike, 422 and 202 and right by a bus stop.
