About the Role

Twitch is looking for a creative senior professional to oversee our global events portfolio including twice yearly TwitchCons. You will build our long-term global events strategy to delight and engage our passionate community and drive primary team goals. The Director of Events is a visible role within Twitch and works in close partnership with many teams around the world. We're looking for someone with demonstrated experience building beloved large-scale, international, complex conventions who can thoughtfully manage multiple partner needs. The Director of Events will manage the team responsible for planning and executing all Twitch brand hosted events, including the operations, content, security, registration, and client engagement.

You can work in San Francisco Bay Area; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA

You Will:
• Manage a talented team of events professionals, as well as external vendors and contractors
• Own the Twitch brand's global events calendar and strategy
• Build the long-term vision and plan for TwitchCon
• Work with senior executive team, agree on success metrics, and report on progress
• Define success metrics with multiple partners across teams at Twitch
• Work with marketing colleagues including members of the Brand, Creative, Communications and Community teams

You Have:
• 10 or more years of experience in large-scale event management, operations, and strategy
• Experience working for a global organization
• Several years experience leading and developing a growing team
• Launched new event concepts from idea to execution
• Confidence presenting new ideas that excite and energize peers and leadership
• Experience with the meetings and events industry ecosystem
• Fluency in analytical and financial data
• Flexibility for travel and to work evening hours and some weekends

About the Position

Twitch is looking for a Digital Content Manager to support the planning and execution of TwitchCon: the ultimate IRL gathering of the Twitch community, bringing thousands of streamers and fans together for an annual celebration in North America and Europe. In this role you will manage the project timeline for the website and app, and assist with marketing deliverables for TwitchCon. You will report to the TwitchCon Director, Content & Technology and will work with the marketing, sales, and content organizations to develop workback timelines to hit key milestones. This is an opportunity for an organized marketing manager to join our team and make a significant contribution building our in-person events that connect the Twitch community.

You Will
• Manage workback schedules and coordinate with TwitchCon event leads and stakeholders key milestones
• You will project manage and execute marketing plan elements for the website and event app; gather all up-to-date information, content schedules and work with the Creative team to launch new builds
• Manage content across event digital platforms including the TwitchCon website and app
• Manage cadenced and periodic updates to process documentation such as point of contacts, process steps, workflows, and system access
• You will oversee all planning trackers, timelines and project reports for your dedicated programs
• Attend all TwitchCon meetings; responsible for tracking all activity and action items

You Have
• 5+ years experience managing trade show and in person event programs and/or digital marketing campaigns
• Experience defining program requirements and using metrics to determine improvements
• Capability to move easily between generating big ideas, and driving ongoing process improvements
• Basic understanding of API’s and experience with CMS
• Experience working across multiple teams and disciplines
• Able to travel more than 30 days a year

About the Position

Twitch is looking for an experienced Content Producer to own content management and logistics for TwitchCon Paris: the ultimate IRL gathering of the Twitch community, bringing thousands of streamers and fans together for an annual celebration in North America and Europe. The Content Producer will support the TwitchCon Senior Content Manager across content production processes, drive event goals and timelines, ensure quality control of content, and manage the onsite execution of the content. Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, this role will have high visibility across the Marketing, Content, and Partnerships teams. They will work closely with the Partnerships and Content teams to facilitate partner and speaker involvement at TwitchCon. The Content Producer will be the primary liaison with all partners and speakers once their participation has been determined for TwitchCon Paris. Partner and speaker involvement includes general session engagements, panel discussions, exhibit hall stages, and Meet and Greets.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, extremely organized individual with experience managing complex content programs for large-scale conferences. This individual should have demonstrated success working across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, be comfortable interfacing with senior leadership, and experience in developing logistic plans that meet the shared vision and needs of both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
• Support Senior Content Manager in curating content for TwitchCon, including manage meetings, timelines, and review process for all event content deliverables
• Attend cross-functional meetings to support in and collaborate on developing and scheduling all event content programming alongside the Senior Content Manager
• Create content programming for both internal and speaker / partner deadlines
• Assist in the Call for Content for TwitchCon, including the development of:
• Call for Content program and process
• Call for Content marketing efforts and target audiences
• Programming review and selection process
• Management of speaker materials including formatting and editing final presentation decks
• Additional needs for internally curated content
• Manage scope, budget, and production of interactive workshops
• Act as primary liaison with all partners and speakers once their participation has been determined at an event, including:
• Build speaker and content programming database
• Communicate all schedules and logistics with partners and speakers
• Streamline the process and coordinate cancellations and replacements
• Track and organize internal materials
• Edit and coordinate all content-related pages on event website and mobile app

Requirements
• 5+ years experience of successfully executing content programs at both large-scale tradeshows and bespoke conferences
• Fluency in French and English
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Coordination of classes or content at events and / or trade shows
• Experience with high touch client management
• Proven success navigating complex work environments, leveraging matrixed resources, services and platforms
• Well traveled, culturally sensitive, and able to balance human factors with professional expectations
