Job Purpose and Impact

The Capital Projects Manager will plan, support, and where applicable, execute engineering deliverables for one or more of our broad core technology or engineering area. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field.

Key Accountabilities
• Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in areas such as food ingredient manufacturing, wastewater, and facilities upgrades.
• Monitor project progress, assess issues and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
• Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of plant processes, equipment, and utilities.
• Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Compensation Information

The expected salary for this position is $110,000 to $123,582 with a 15% annual target bonus. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

• At least 6 years of experience with financial modeling

What you will doThe firm is adding an Analyst/Associate to its Capital Markets group. This individual will report to the Head of Capital Markets at Summit and work closely with members of the Capital Markets team, Summit’s investment teams across its growth equity platforms and the management teams of our portfolio companies.

In this role you will help with the financing execution process for new investments and existing portfolio companies. You will also help manage Summit’s relationships with financial intermediaries, investment banks and other third-party capital providers. Additionally, you will help structure, document, and monitor investments from Summit’s captive subordinated debt fund. This critical addition to the team will play a central role in supporting the Capital Markets team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with each of Summit’s investment teams across growth equity fund platforms in connection with financing new investment activities and portfolio company initiatives
• Assisting with the financing execution process, including lender outreach, facilitating lender due diligence, financial model construction/review
• Overseeing the deal closing process in partnership with legal counsel, financing sources, portfolio company management teams and Summit’s finance team
• Developing materials and supporting analysis for internal presentations, investor presentations and fund-raising activities
• Managing various internal databases to track transaction and financing activities
• Tracking financial performance of investments from Summit’s captive subordinated debt fund
• Monitor leveraged finance market conditions and recent developments to help ensure we are benefitting from the latest financing technology and most favorable terms and conditions
• Coordinating with and supporting management teams of Summit portfolio companies in all of the above activities as needed
